The #TeachWrite Chat is Moving!

For the past three years, the #TeachWrite Twitter Chat has brought together teacher-writers and teachers of writers on the first Monday of every month to share ideas about writing and teaching writing.

The chat has grown beyond our wildest dreams and has really filled a need in the field of education.

Each month, so many ideas and resources are generously shared between chatters.

But because of the fast-moving nature of a Twitter chat, many of those ideas and resources are missed because they never get seen.

But not any more....

Beginning in June 2020, the #TeachWrite Chat is moving to its own Facebook group and will become a monthlong slow chat!

We invite you to participate by becoming a member of our new #TeachWrite Chat Facebook group.

Each month in the #TeachWrite Chat Facebook group, we will post five questions around a common theme.

Any time during the month, you are invited to stop by to comment, reply, and connect with other chatters.

Then, the last Monday of every month, we will host a live Zoom workshop at 7 PM ET to gather our community together for some co-writing time and to reflect on that month's theme.

We are excited to begin this new adventure that we hope will bring a deeper conversation and connection amongst everyone in our community.

We are all here to learn from each other so we hope you will join the conversation (and invite your friends too!)
