Welcome to the February 2, 2019 edition of The Teach Write Writing Round-Up, a gathering of tips for teaching writing and for growing as a teacher who writes.

This past week sure was a cold one here in the upper Midwest. No matter where you were, I hope you stayed cozy warm and found some time for writing.

Places to Publish Teen Writing:

Writing for an authentic audience increases student engagement with writing. The NY Times has put together a list of 70 places to publish teen writers to help you do just that.

Make Time for Your Own Writing:

Cohorts are now forming for our February Time to Write! Online Writing Workshop. We meet virtually every Wednesday night in February from 6:00 - 7:30 pm Eastern. This is a dedicated time for you to work on your own writing while finding support and encouragement from other teacher-writers doing the same. Sign up and join us!
