Teach Write exists to bring teachers together who enjoy writing or who are looking to grow their writing practice. We offer more services on our paid platform (Teach Write Academy), but you can also find helpful resources and free events both here and via our Social Media platforms.

The Teach Write Academy is a monthly membership where teachers go to grow as writers and as teachers of writers. It offers several writing workshops and events for teachers (current, past, or future) that will increase their confidence and creativity in writing and in teaching writing to students in K-12 and beyond!

An online writing workshop where you will find regular writing time four times a week that includes goal-setting and accountability as well as a wonderfully supportive community of writers!

On our social media platforms we post a monthly list of writing prompts for EVERYONE to use. In addition, our Academy members are issued a challenge every month to stretch outside of your writing comfort zone. Participate in whatever capacity you'd like and even bring the challenge into your classroom. We also offer special workshops and events such as a Writers Read Book Club, Jounaling Club, and more!

You can find ideas and suggestios in our blog posts, but the bulk of our resources are archived and stored with our Teach Write Academ platform. If you mean handouts or individual lesson plans, then no we do not offer those at this time. We service teachers k-12 and share many ideas, but it’s not really a print-and-go kind of service.

Signing up for the Teach Write Academy is like signing up for any subscription — you’re going to get out of it what you put into it. Currently we offer Time to Write Workshops, Journaling Club, Writers Read Book Club, Writing Challenge Parties, regularly updated blog posts, a treasure trove of information and previous workshops recorded, accountability, community, and support!
